'Head Lines'
Roy trained at the Camberwell School of Art and was one of the most prolific and dedicated painters; even in his old age he worked incessantly. A self effacing man, he abhorred press and publicity, so it was really after his death that his talent has been recognised with a wonderful retrospective at the Fine Art Society. His work hangs in public collections including The Fitzwilliam Museum
