Richard Bawden followed in the footsteps of a famous father - Edward Bawden - and like him exhibited talent in art and design. He worked in many fields including book illustration, print making and mural design. A Suffolk resident, he was known for his views from the Aldeburgh lookout and his wonderful interiors featuring cats and plants which occupied him during the winter months. Today his work is in the V &A, the Tate and the London Transport Museum.
