Kenneth Fernée was born in London and studied during the early 1950's at the Southern college of Art. He held solo exhibitions at the Plymouth Arts Centre and at the Barbican, London. He also exhibited in group shows at the Royal Academy, the AIA London, the RWA, the Whitechapel Galleries and the the Mall Galleries - London.
His work also encompasses mural painting and these are represented in Plymouth City Art Gallery and the University of Exeter Art Collection. Exeter University also held a Memorial exhibition for him in 1984.
